    Body's resistance is forming the gate resistor, drain source current is limited by the resistor already connected, flow of drain current lights up the LED.

    Informative but missing the point! (Or am I?) Suppose there is a hundred watt bulb instead of an LED. It will get 20 milliamps and will not even glow until the "short" is reflected back and more current can flow. What if it isn't a 50 ohm transmission line... (like if the wires aren't close to each other). Then you don't even get 20 milliamps!

    What is going on around the 40:00 minute mark? ( ua-cam.com/video/SM76F537vjc/v-deo.htmlsi=XtDe7qTBd9qpJ2TA&t=2400 ) As best I can tell, there is a differential pair that is jumping over a bunch of gaps, and a parallel signal from the other side of the ground plane is causing crosstalk. But why would you put those gaps in the plane in the first place? It isn't for a via, or neither track would be there. If you're pulling the plane away/using a hatched plane for greater impedance, then why not do that on the rest of the track, too? (e.g. why first go South and circle around on solid areas? And why does the other signal layer run over those cutouts, but over (under?) solid ground to the left?) And would coupling be a problem even with the ground plane, since the plane is pretty thin, and both layers would be using it for return current at the same time?

    1:11:18 so this is where the title pic comes from. I may have missed it prior, but does this mean that in CMOS we have to group nMOSFET and pMOSFET ? I saw some die shots of RCA 1802 and it had a lot of rings. But as I understand each ring connected to Vdd or Vss is made of metal and is connected to doped silicon which completely encapsulates the transistor almost like a Faraday cage? I thought that the substrate would have one of the dopings, and the opposite doping would slide in from the source or drain. Is this to preven dirty effects at the end of these small width transistors? Power transistors can fold the gate inside this ring. I should probably google clock circuits. Also the amplifiers in front of the PLA of the 65C02 probably need power and output pins.

    When +ve voltage applied to the gate then capacitance created on gate and then MOSFET is turned on and it stills on if you remove gate supply, if you apply -ve voltage to the gate then this created capacitance is disappeared and MOSFET turned off.

    1) how did any current flow through you if that battery has like 9 volts 2) how did it proceed to glow when you let go of the thing

    • @redmist4963
      @redmist4963 16 годин тому

      1) human body has a high resistance but not infinite, in the range of 100k ohm so the current is enough to trigger the gate. This works because the input resistance at the gate is very high. 2) the gate has capacitance and it acts like a capacitor which maintains the voltage at the gate, until the gate is connected to ground and the capacitor is discharged and the mosfet is turned off

    I cannot explain how this circuit works. Why gate only charged via human body, and not gets charged by electromagnetic fields around? There should be plenty from mains around, for example, and that cable connected to gate works like antenna.

    • @yashjaiswal2141
      @yashjaiswal2141 4 дні тому

      In this case human body is acting like a resistor which allow tiny current to flow through gate which is enough to trigger the MOSFET and close the circuit

    • @yashjaiswal2141
